About

Global Medical Brigades is an international movement of students and medical professionals working alongside local communities and staff to implement sustainable health systems. We work in remote, rural, and under-resourced communities in Honduras, Panama, Greece, Ghana, and Guatemala that would otherwise have limited to no access to health care.

Global Brigades helps combats health discrepancies in our communities not only through medical clinics but also through public health and water infrastructure projects.

Our Mission

To empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world.

Our Mission

What We Do

Our brigaders shadow local and foreign health professionals as they provide pro-bono consultations and medications to patients in rural communities. Volunteers assist with intake, triage, medication packing, and health education. We help to improve communities public health by developing infrastructure for clean water and safe living conditions.
